Cristy Jennings, president, developed an encompassing, effective strategic plan to successfully launch a series of “City-Opoly” advertising projects based on the “Opoly” real estate trading game.
“CITY-OPOLY” Overview Promo Perfect recognizes the “City-Opoly” game as a community project. It involves not only the featured city, but its leaders and institutions as well. We seek partnerships with these leaders to lend their knowledge and history in the development of the game in terms of prospective advertisers, historic landmarks to be included and the overall theme of its own unique game. Each game is completely customized to look and feel like the community it features. The “City-Opoly” projects serve as an advertising and branding medium for local businesses and organizations. Promo Perfect actually owns the project and manages all aspects – advertising sales, graphic design, production and retail sales. Community Giving Component Every one wins: The non-profit and community organizations raise money by receiving a designated percentage of the retail sales of the games by signing up as a fundraising partner. Retail establishments get the opportunity to make a profit by purchasing the games at wholesale prices. Advertising opportunities vary in pricing giving virtually everyone a chance to participate The consumer wins by supporting their favorite charity with the purchase of each game
Management of Process Promo Perfect follows a time line created specifically for each project. The estimated project time can is estimated to be between 6 and 12 months from beginning to end. Each time line will be tailored to each community. Below is a sample time line, which is for illustration only. Actual time frames may be longer or shorter. April through July Initiate project and complete fundraising phase. August Game Production and Manufacturing September Board Game Delivery and Launch of Retail Sales September - December Retail Sales Partnerships with Local Community Promo Perfect has developed contracts for every phase of the project to ensure the delivery of service and integrity of the project. All aspects of the effort will be protected by contracts. Contracts protect all of the stakeholders and are deemed executed when signed by an authorized representative and received by Premier Promo. Advisory Partner(s) – Promo Perfect presents the project to the local Chamber of Commerce, City Officials and other prominent leadership groups or individuals for partnering as Advisory Partners. The goal of the Advisory Partner is to help guide the project by providing leads to potential participants in all areas, including advertising, media, retail sales and to guide Promo Perfect through the landmarks and other facilities that might otherwise be overlooked. The advisory partners are included in all media promotion for the project, are featured somewhere on the game board or on the outside of the box and receive a 1/8 per page ad in the instruction sheets. Retail Partner – Promo Perfect will seek retail outlets to promote and sell the game. The Retail Partner will keep a designated portion of the sales for administrative costs or to donate to a local charity. The more retail partnerships established, the greater number of games sold, thus generating more advertising and branding for the participants. Fundraising Partner – Promo Perfect will seek local community service organizations, non-profits, schools and civic groups to help them raise funds for their programs and projects. The Fundraising Partner will keep a designated portion of the retail sales. Fundraising Partners can also make money by selling the advertising opportunities and receiving the sales commission. Media Partner Contract – Promo Perfect will seek Media Partners to generate advertising and news print and radio to promote the project, which translates into greater advertising opportunities and retail sales. The Media Partner will be featured on the inside of the game board and receive recognition in all project promotions. Storage Partner Contract – Promo Perfect will partner with a local business to secure storage for the games. The Storage Partner will be featured along the inside of the game board and receive recognition in all project promotions. Distribution Event Partner Contract – Promo Perfect will secure a Distribution Event Partner to provide a location, food and beverages for the celebration of the delivery and distribution phase of the project. The Distribution Event Partner will be featured along the inside of the game board and receive recognition in all promotions.
Advertising Participants – Promo Perfect will present the advertising opportunities in person and deliver advertiser information packets. Once a sale is closed, the participant will complete and sign an advertising sales contract and an advertising sales form to designate the opportunity purchased. Promo Perfect will then send a Graphic Design form to request the necessary artwork, logos, slogan and text needed to create the advertising space. Deadlines and approval processes have been established to protect both the advertiser and Promo Perfect and ensure accurate final copy before production of the game. Other Opportunities – Promo Perfect reserves the right to customize the game by making special arrangements and exploring new opportunities for partnerships in all areas of the project.
